1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Punchd (“Punchd,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Punchd iOS application and this website. Punchd does not require you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal information.
2. Information involved in using Punchd
Training data
Punchd stores the profile choices you provide during onboarding, your training plan, workout history, completion status, and app settings. This information is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled for Punchd, Apple may sync it between your devices through your private iCloud account. We do not have a Punchd account database containing this training data.
Apple Health data
If you choose to enable Apple Health access, Punchd can save completed boxing workouts to Apple Health. Punchd may read only the workout records it created so that it can find and remove them when you request deletion. Health access is optional and controlled in iOS Settings. Punchd does not use Health data for advertising, sell it, or send it to PostHog or RevenueCat.
Usage and diagnostics data
Punchd uses PostHog to understand whether features work and where the app can improve. This can include an automatically generated app installation identifier, app lifecycle events, interactions such as starting or completing onboarding and workouts, general plan and workout characteristics, subscription-flow events, device and app technical details, and survey responses you choose to submit. Punchd does not intentionally send your name, email address, Apple Health records, or the content of your private iCloud training database to PostHog.
Purchase information
Purchases are processed by Apple. Punchd uses RevenueCat to retrieve offerings, verify subscription or lifetime-purchase entitlement status, and restore purchases. RevenueCat may process an app-specific customer identifier, product and entitlement information, transaction status, and related device or technical information. Punchd does not receive your full payment-card details.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond to your request.
3. How information is used

- Sync app data between your devices when you enable iCloud.
- Save or remove Punchd-created workouts when you enable Apple Health.
- Provide, verify, and restore purchases.
- Measure reliability and product usage, troubleshoot problems, and improve Punchd.

4. When information is shared
We share information only as needed with service providers that support Punchd, when you direct us to do so, or when required to comply with law and protect rights or safety. Current service providers include:
- Apple for App Store purchases, iCloud, and optional HealthKit functionality.
- PostHog for product analytics and optional in-app surveys.
- RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Punchd does not sell personal information and does not use information for cross-app advertising tracking.
5. Retention and deletion
Training data remains on your device and in your private iCloud database until you delete it, uninstall the app, or manage it through your Apple account and devices. Punchd includes an in-app control to delete your Punchd profile, plans, workout history, progress, and synced Punchd iCloud data. Deleting Punchd app data does not automatically cancel a subscription or delete workouts already saved to Apple Health.
Analytics, purchase, and support records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the app, maintain purchase access, respond to requests, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Service providers may retain information according to their own documented retention obligations. You may request deletion of information we control by contacting us.
6. Your choices and rights
- Decline or revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings.
- Disable iCloud access for Punchd through your Apple account or device settings.
- Delete Punchd app data from Punchd Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We may need to verify a request before completing it.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No storage or transmission system is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
8. Children
Punchd is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
9. This website
This static website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, accounts, or contact forms. Your browser and hosting provider may process basic connection information, such as IP address and request logs, to deliver and secure the site.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Punchd or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app when appropriate.
